MAKER MARK I mix every glaze by hand in small batches

Caption · cozy story

Only 24 of these exist. I pulled the last speckled holiday mugs out of the kiln this morning, glazes I mixed by hand, so no two match. They drop Friday at 10am, and I don't think they'll last the weekend.

"Elevate your space"

Posts that sound like everyone

Generic AI writes like a gift shop catalog. Your customers buy from you because you're not that.

Make, pack, ship

Content always comes last

Between orders, markets and actually making things, posting is the first thing to slide.

MakerBrain fixes all three. It knows your shop, it writes like you, and it's quick enough to fit between orders.

One prompt, one finished carousel

We built the "Gifts for the chosen family" prompt for our example shop, Fern & Fire Pottery, and pasted it into ChatGPT. Here are 6 of the 9 slides it wrote.

Why I built this

I've started over more times than I can count.

I've been a maker for about 15 years, and I've run more than one home studio and storefront.

I come from makers who were incredibly good at creating products but never had the marketing education or know-how. So they did the markets and vendor events. Some days were good, some days were bad, and it was always a lot of work for a little money.

Later in life, I went to school for marketing and entrepreneurship so I could help this exact group of people. Makers are underserved. We can't afford to get left behind by AI, and showing up with good content is how people find our work.

If systems like this can help us create better content and get more visibility, then why would we not do that?

Questions

Good to know

Is it really free?

Yes, while it's in beta. Paid plans with one-tap AI drafts come later, and beta makers hear about them first.

Why do I need an account?

Your account keeps your MakerBrain, Maker Marks and pillars tied to you, and it's how we send the monthly trend drop. Signing up takes your name and email, with no password to remember.

Do I need to pay for an AI tool?

No. The prompts work in the free versions of Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Copy, paste, send.

Will it sound like a robot wrote it?

Every prompt tells the AI to use your real details, your process and your words, and to leave a [bracket] when it needs a fact from you instead of making one up.

How often do the trends change?

A new trend drop lands at the start of each month, with key selling dates, what shoppers are searching for, and what's working on Reels and TikTok.

More making. Less marketing.

MakerBrain handles the words, so you can get back to the bench.
